RE:
I still don't get the logic of the PRUSA Batches:
UTC time: Friday, 31 January 2025 17:04 GMT+01:00
Payment status: Paid
Order status: New
Refund status: Partially refunded (I cancelled the Buddy CAM)
Order date:1/31/2025
and
Prusa CORE One kit
Power Cable (EU)
Shipping starts: TBA
It was done four minutes after the opening, and it still does not have a batch #
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
UTC 17:04 is one hour after the opening, I think?
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I think you good, I also have recently cancelled item and have TBA, support told everything is in order and kit has the right batch number, will be visible soon
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Now that it's no longer possible to change my order, I'm rather glad that I made a few changes when I did. In the last couple of days I removed the camera (thinking I'll build my own from an ESP32), and I added the cooling fan parts to bring the cooling of my MK4 up to MK4S spec.
I suspect the option to edit the order was removed partly because of the possibility of abuse - there would have been nothing to stop someone in an early batch from, say, adding a couple more printer kits, with the thought of reselling them at a premium to people further down the queue. That would clearly mess with the batch schedule. By preventing edits they're maybe attempting to lock down that schedule.
The cynic in me hopes that it hasn't been done merely to stop people spending their shipping refund vouchers on their pending orders!
This is caused by a bug in the order system. This happens if you split your order, which had multiple items, into two orders, a set in one and the other items in the second order. If Prusa sends you the other parts from the second order, somehow this information from the second split (and sent) order will also get into the first one and it will look like it's almost sent to you even though it's not. The worst part is that the support worker can see the "Edit" and "Cancel" buttons in your order, but you can't! This happened to me too and it took me half an hour, including sending a screenshot of my order screen, to convince support of this error. But do you think anyone fixed it? Of course they just ignored it and left it alone. So if you're going to do anything with this order, it's only through support.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
This is going to be interesting to see. If I've got it correct, someone will potentially be getting their kit before Prusa fulfill all the batches of the assembled units. This might be the way Prusa has always conducted a launch, but I thought the assembled units were being fulfilled before the kits? Unless I've misread the wording? (Highly likely at my age)
Yes indeed -- I very much look forward to being one of those "someones", tomorrow if all goes well. 😊
In my understanding, discussions here on the forum have assumed for quite a while that the rate at which Prusa can ship assembled Core Ones is limited by their assembly manpower, not by the availability of parts. In that situation it would make perfect sense that they can start shipping kits while still working on the batches of assembled printers. The people who pack kits are probably a different team vs. the technicians who assemble printers.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I just spoke with PRUSA support, and .....
THE AIR FILTER is delaying the whole order. It will be available probably in May and until then the whole order is blocked. 😭
If I delete the item, they will ship.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
This was why I cancelled everything that went out of stock whilst my order was processing. Worried this would happen.

The situation around availability of the accessories is rather confusing. I was about to cancel my accelerometer order on Monday night, after noticing that it had also gone out of stock with a 3..4 week lead time. But Prusa support advised me to hang in there, and indeed it seems to have shipped the next day.
On the other hand, cameras and filter add-ons may indeed be unavailable? Better to check with support before making any changes to an order, or ending up waiting for a looong time for a part that's missing.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
Yeah, the accelerometer is funny. Ordered it yesterday and expected it to arrive mid May (based on the lead time on the product page), but today I have it in my hands ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
I know, for folks in the later batches the situation is annoying, but for me the experience, kit shipped basically on the last possible day advertised, then a one-day delivery of accessories. The only thing that was detrimental to my first shopping experience (compared to my Bambu shopping) was, indeed, the lack of communication about what was going on with shipping of the kits.
So, on my journey to leave Bambu behind (maybe just as much as possible) I still feel I took the right first step.
Just my 2ct.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I ordered the kit, plus the satin sheet 10 minutes after they were made available and still not shipped.
The satin sheet is in stock, but I find it a bit wild that in three days they haven’t got through to 10 minutes after the kit was made available.
I did order the camera but removed that a week or so back so as not to hold up the order.
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
At Prusa the mail went off on 31.01 I think I got my confirmation at 7 pm
Some have an order number that is more than 5000 orders apart from mine.
Therefore in 1-2 hours 5000 orders is blatant for a family business

5000 orders including parts, filaments etc… not just printers! 🙂
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
I haven't seen anyone posting here or on reddit that they have received a shipping confirmation. It seems like it was shipped on day 1 to minutes 7 after release and since then nothing has been shipped. I hope it continues tomorrow. I hope so every day 🤣
RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List
How do you guys know the Batch number of your order?
I ordered my Core One Kit the 10 of february but haven't seen any "batch number".

I placed my order on 31.1. at 17:17, and immediately received a confirmation email. I received another confirmation after payment.
I am from the Czech Republic, I don't speak English, I translate using Google Translate

Prusa order numbers are time stamps. They advance by exactly 3600 every hour.

The order number is just an epoch timestamp of when you placed your order mate.
Just because the timestamp is 5000 later, that just means 5000 seconds have passed. If you put your order number into an epoch timestamp converter, it will just reflect to the second when you placed your order.
5000 seconds is around 83 minutes.

This is the order confirmation. But I'm talking about the shipping notification.

Would be atypical for logical companies the pay increases with every order and not after time.

Yep, the cynic in me suggests they shoved a few kits out of the door on the 31st just so they could make firm on their claim that ‘shipping started in March’
It all smells a bit fishy.
