That MMU enclosure ...
I'm also guilty of cracking jokes at the (non-)aesthetics of the "MMU enclosure" but honestly, it's not an issue. Really - you get used to it, fall into the habit of looking somewhere else 🙂
But now that it is - involuntarily? - headlining the news announcement, a thumbs-up to the anonymous guy (or gal) who designed it: It's actually a very solid piece of work. "Solid" in a sense of, I could probably step on it. This could be designed differently and obviously for lower cost.
Want to buy a 3d printer for looks, check the wooden one 🙂
