Prusa Core One - Will it support PrusaLink?!

As the title suggests, will the Prusa Core One have PrusaLink embedded?!
I'm not a fan of any "cloud" solutions and would love to continue using my printers "offline", through my LAN, without any sort of "phone home feature".

I don't see why it wouldn't. I can't find a specific reference on the Core One having it, but Prusa's page on Prusa Connect and PrusaLink says:

What is PrusaLink?

Much like Octoprint, this remote printer-management system runs locally on your Original Prusa printer.

Its main goal is to provide communication between your printer and the Prusa Connect cloud. The secondary function is to provide a web interface, which can be used on your local (home) network only. Simply paste the printer's IP address into your web browser to access it. Using PrusaLink alone you can monitor your printer, upload G-codes, start or cancel a print.

If the primary purpose is to provide communication between the printer and Prusa Connect cloud, then I think any printer that supports Connect will also support PrusaLink.

Since they worked specifically to enable an upgrade path from the Mk4S to Core One,  I suspect that most of the electronics will be identical or nearly so between them.  I don't have any doubt they'll retain the ability to use Prusa Link.  It is very intentional functionality that is for those who want some network control but want (or need) to stay offline.

I agree. I suspect the CORE One will use the same xBuddy board that the MK4 uses. Maybe another printer mode to select in the hardware settings (currently a choice between MK4 and MK4S) since the firmware for all the Buddy-style boards seems to be the same codebase.

But this is just a guess until assembly guides are published.

PrusaConnect requires PrusaLink to be in the firmware or as a python package on the computer connected to the printer (for example Raspberry Pi).

Since the official page mentions it integrates with PrusaConnect and you can reuse some parts from the older printer, and the fact that the main board have an ethernet port I suspect it will be in firmware as it is with MK4 or Mini and some othe printers.

This also means PrusaLink can run locally only, without the need to access PrusaConnect in the cloud.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Most certainly it will.

Remember, its literally the same printer as the MK4s, just re-arranged in a Core XY fashion. All features currently found in the MK4s will be present in the Core One.
