I have been using the following to eliminate odour on my CoreOne. Activated Carbon Filter For Creality K1 Max Cotton Activated Carbon Air Filter Replacement Element for K1 MAX 3Don Ali Express - works a treat with minimal air flow disruption.
The following is available - https://www.printables.com/model/1250534-core-one-filter-cotton-activated-carbon-air-filter
RE: Filtration Kit.....
And yet my order from 1/31 still waits for the filtration kit.........
I ordered Filtration Kit two days ago. said it would not ship for 11-12 weeks... It shipped today. I got lucky or their web sit is not updated.
Still waiting on my ordered 1/23/2025
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I receive and install the filtration systeme, like it, great quality build.
I just want to have the possibility to have the chamber fan start with the print instead of have to do it manually at each print :/

I don't think you should manually turn it on. My understanding is that it will come on based on the set chamber temperature. Essentially it will only come on if it needs to cool the chamber down.
It will also run at the end of the print for however long you have set in on the printer to filter the air inside the chamber before you open the door to remove your part.
Other than that it doesn't need to run as any fumes should stay inside the enclosure for the most part.
If you run the filter all the time it will be constantly cooling the chamber, and this can lead to unwanted results if your trying to maintain chamber temperature.
This is different from previous Prusa filtration systems as those recirculated the air inside the enclosure, and therefore could be run continuously. The system on the C1 is exhausting the air and therefore will be pulling new cold air inside to replace the exhausted air.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
So far i haven't found out how to do that. Once i activate the filtration unit on my machine, the chamber fans are turned off. So basically i take the unit off when i don't need it for PLA and stuff, and put it back on when i need it. Mind you, i don't disassemble it, i just unhook it from the back and disable it in the firmware.
But yeah, when i turn on the advanced filtration unit, the chamber fans auto turn off.

RE: Filtration Kit.....
My filter order shipping date was creeping one day longer, every day, for 3 weeks. Today it is undetermined and just links shipping schedule. There is a note that Prusa had a glitch in the order system and CoreOne + Filter orders were not being processed correctly. Fixed now, but seems my filter order was moved down the line even though it was a "day one" order. I checked 2 days ago and was told the "filter" was the holdup on the order even though many have recieved it. I can't make sense of it. Maybe there are still software/human glitches in the system.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Yeah, same here. I ordered mine on day the core one DIY kit was announced. Different order from the printer, but same day. It's been continually pushed back and now has no date listed.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Same here, I've cancelled my filtration set now, getting fed up by this.

Same.... When I contacted support they pointed me to the lead time, WTF? I've already waited the lead time and then some from my 31.1 order.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
My 31.1 conversion kit order with camera and filter shipped late yesterday. According to the new batch/shipping table it would not ship till June 21st. So clearly the batching/shipping table dates are useless right now.

So now instead of pushing my shipping back one week every week it has link for up to date information nut contains no information for a stand alone order.

June 2nd got a notice from fedex about a Prusa shipment. Checked my order on Prusa and saw in process. A few hours later Prusa order showed “dispatch” may 29??? It’s on the way now.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I was batch 8 for assembled Core One (with buddy 3d and filtration). Finally received the printer last Friday and the camera & filtration yesterday (thank you Fedex for delivering in two batches...).
Whilst I will install those 2 add-ons during next weekend, I would like to point out a benefit from having waited so long: my core-one has been delivered pre-cabled for the camera (usb C power cable) which will save me quite a bit of time (apparently it will be the case for all C1 from June onwards).
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I ordered the filtration kit with my Core One kit, I built the kit, did a test print and then the following day remembered the filtration kit. I then installed the filtration kit. The printer is quieter with the filtration kit and the smell from the printer is a lot less.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I've been looking at the DIY filters – and will continue to – but at this point I'm far more inclined toward fitting an exhaust adapter. There are quite a few to choose from on Printables.
This will mean I can't have the printer where it currently is, but will have to move it to the home office next to my SLA printer, as there I have fitted a passthrough into the wall that is used – depending on situation – by the portable AC unit, the SLA printer, workbench exhaust (soldering, fine dust). Not sure how that will work with the noise while working and having online meetings. The SLA printer is much more silent and didn't bother me so far.
