RE: Filtration Kit.....
I have almost the same situation. Mk4s to CORE One kit (Bath 1), camera and adv filtration. My status is not changed. Is it possible to send only printer kit by Prusa or I must wait to filtration kit?
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Also still waiting on mine. Ordered separately about a month ago.
For a while, the expected ship date on my order overview moved further back and back all the time (was late June i believe). But now, it jumped forward again to expected shipping this week, so I'm interested to see if anything happens in that regard or if the expected shipping date is just arbitrary.

How are you finding the expected ship date?
RE: Filtration Kit.....
My order: Camera and Filtration kit only on January 23
NEW
Expected to ship between 5/5/2025 and 5/11/2025
RE: Filtration Kit.....
If i go to the "Orders" page in the shop ( https://www.prusa3d.com/account/orders/) and click on my filtration kit order, i can see it right there at the top (check my attachment)
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Interesting, thanks. On my order because the printer is on it as well it just refers to the shipping chart, which I was batch one. But my order has been held up because of the filtration system. I'll have to reach out to support and see if they have an update.
RE:
I also ordered the Filtration system over a month ago and the shipping date is changing every day. I was also happy when the date changed to this week and I thought it would be shipped soon. I thought wrong. The shifting continues to take place as before. So no change. It's probably just that if this shift is too far in the future, the date will be "reset". I asked support what was going on, which unfortunately wasn't very helpful. I was only told that the shipping date is moving because the system itself does not know when the shipment will take place.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Second thoughts here.
My printer is located in the house, in my spare room, which is alongside the bedrooms.
Although I generally only print PLA/PETG, I wanted to try some ASA - hence why I wanted to add the filter.
I just watched a YouTube video of someone with a print farm, who has filters on all his machines, and still got ASA poisoning - even though he has filters on all machines. He felt ill over a couple of days - like the flu. As soon as he stepped away from the farm he would recover. Upon returning, within the hour he felt ill again - hence how he tied it to the ASA he was printing with. Had some tests and confirmed.
I no longer feel confident in taking the risk, especially considering its near the kids at home - I would only print ASA, and any other such materials, in a very well ventilated area alongside the filter. Unfortunately its cold a lot in the UK so I cant always keep the window open!
RE:

You are right, mine behaves exactly the same now.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I just talked to support. They indicated that it should start shipping in a few days. And that removing it from your order would probably take longer as the refunding seems to take 2 weeks.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Thanks for the info. I ordered the filtration system and a sheet as separate orders. I'm just waiting for this one order. I think the support team would save themselves a lot of questions if the dates were simply communicated more openly. But the topic has already been discussed many times.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I ordered the filter kit early with a Buddy Cam. The filtration kit has held the shipping. First shipping estimate showed April. Then End of May or first part of June. I checked today and shows it should ship out by Monday, May 12. It shows May 6-12, but I haven't recieved the shipping notice yet.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Yes, for me it has also been moved from June to this week. As it continues to be delayed every day, I don't think this has any meaning.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Now it shows May 9-15, no shipping notice yet.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
I know it states on the website, that items may hold up your order but for Christ's sake!
Don't offer a filtration option on release and then have it hold your order for potentially months because, it's either not ready or the manufacturer of it is having issues with demand.
I know I keep banging the drum but how do people tolerate this sort of business practice?

It all depends. In my case I have enough printing capacity and am not in dire need of the printer. I figured some of the bugs would be worked out by the time it arrived.
Admittedly I am starting to lose a little patience. I am a day 1 order back in November. I recently inquired with support and they said my order is priority and will ship soon. I asked about switching to a kit and how that'll affect my order, so we'll see. I had originally anticipated that the rollout of the kits would have taken longer, but they actually did really well imo of sticking to the schedule.
I guess to answer your question directly nobody is being forced to keep their order. Any person could cancel their order at any time no questions asked. You don't even have to contact support, just go to your order and cancel it.
The part I am confused about is why so many people who are unhappy with Prusa continue to hang around and complain about it. If I despised Prusa and their business practices, I surely wouldn't waste my time hanging out on a Prusa forum. I guess I have more important things to do.

I get your point, people can cancel, it's their perogative, yet people seem to hang on and on, as it seems Prusa can do no wrong for some.
They have surprised me with an earlier than scheduled delivery though, which was nice, but I'm guessing it was because I didn't see me getting my printer this side of June with the filtration, so cancelled it, which may of brought it forward.
I guess, if you're in a position such as your own, that you don't need the printer, It's fine. Likewise, I held out for mine, as I don't need it either, it's potentially the start of a hobby for me and something to involves the kids with, so no rush.
I guess you're right though, I could just not talk about it, cancel my order and get on with my day, but if I'm unhappy about something, as others also are, I speak up. If you feel that's a waste of time, then I champion your decision to crack on with waiting. I guess complacency is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure the important things you need to do are more important than standing up and talking about things that Prusa could do better for customers? But you seem quite humble about it......
I don't despise Prusa, or their business practices, how you got to that conclusion is beyond me. Yes, I've been vocal about certain aspects of the way Prusa handle orders, but I certainly wouldn't put me in the 'hate' camp, I'm merely questioning them, it is an open forum after all?!
Hand wringing aside, there are things that Prusa do, that aren't considered regular, especially where pre-orders are concerned. To like it or lump it, isn't what newer customers like myself want to hear from established members of the community, and only bolsters the preconceptions of said community.
I heard about the hard-core Prusa collective before coming here and I was a little apprehensive about the community not taking criticism of the brand lightly. I have seen people defend them, justly and sometimes, IMO, unjustly, but that's a matter of opinion.
What most can agree on, as many have aired, if your hard-core Prusa or not, is that there are improvements to be made within certain aspects of their business, which are the norm for many companies across the world. They've been doing it long enough to evolve for the better.
I really like the Prusa brand and the ethos of upgradeable machines is what attracted me in the first place, plus they look cool as fcuk 😅
But, unless they up their game, they may begin to struggle to keep newer customers such as me interested, unless I learn to like it or lump it, which I don't see happening anytime soon in spite of how may Haribos Gummy bears come with a printer 😉

Great response Scott. I appreciate a civil discussion and you have good points.
I didn't mean to point it at you in particular, and I apologize that I made it sound that way. It just triggered my annoyance with the forum lately with some users, not you, that seem to be only on the forum to complain on many different threads. It's made me consider not browsing them anymore.
I'm here because I enjoy helping others and learning stuff myself. I'm always impressed with some of the stuff that people come up with and the useful tips/ solutions to issues that people have. I don't mind anyone expressing their opinion, even a negative one, but when its the same thing over and over again it just gets old.
I also agree with you on the Filtration system. It's getting a little old how long it's taking. They would be better off saying they won't have it for 6 months, and then shipping early than Vice Versa.
I also ordered a bunch of other things that I needed along with the printer to save on some shipping, but apparently some of that stuff has held up the order as well. For example PCCF. I bought a few rolls when it was in stock and added it to my order. Recently support told me that it was the PCCF holding the order up. I'm not sure how that's possible, shouldn't they have allocated it to my order when I bought it? So there's definitely room for improvement.
RE: Filtration Kit.....
The filtration system is as simple as it comes. A fan with some filter media. Why it is being held up and delayed for months is beyond me. I have no idea!
RE: Filtration Kit.....
Yea, not getting it either. The fan and media appear to be the same ones for the normal enclosure, so isn't just sheet metal?
