Error Code since Upgrade.

Error Code since Upgrade.

I am getting G code isnt fully compatable error. This started after the upgrade to Core one + the first few prints went just fine after finding the problem I created. The first prints after I used a stick to print the files it was after I started using the connect transfer this occured. Any ideas?

Normally that could be that you are using the wrong printer profile. You said you did a upgrade to the printer, but didn't say which one. If you went from a MK4S to Core One+, it could be that you might have forgot to add or change the printer profile when you are slicing.

Unfortunately, these complainers probably think that the rest of us are sitting next to them at the printer and think that we see everything like them. This applies to all the complaints of the complainers, not just this one. And they cannot correctly and precisely describe the circumstances under which the error occurred. If they had tried to describe it accurately, I think they would have found a solution when describing the error! And they also sometimes feel offended when we try to pry more detailed information and details from them.

sssshhhhh..... I get to justify my job 🙂 (joke) 
But have to keep one thing in mind, everyone starts at the beginning, and if I was on some other social media sites, I would make a lot of mistakes as well. 
Im working on the forum guidelines and there is a link to a post about what people should put in when requesting assistance along with some other things

I am also a moderator of a forum (another one) and the experiences are the same. We also have a lot of beginners there. And we even developed rules on how to behave on the forum, and how to ask questions. And do you think that a beginner even reads these rules and behaves accordingly? With a few exceptions, they don't deal with it at all, and they behave in the style of "Here I am, an inexperienced beginner and all of you around are obliged to answer my (often pointless) question either immediately or preferably yesterday!" And we solved it by creating a thread "Trash" where we move these impudent and pointless posts. And the user is of course warned that he must not behave like this. And if he doesn't stop, he will be banned for a certain period of time. And I would say that it helps quite a bit. So I'm quite curious how it will work here.

Without sounding like a wise guy here. Only time will tell on that one. I can enforce the rules, send out reminders on how to do things properly, ask people to follow the rules and if it's repeated often (on purpose rather than accident) I can take further steps. Ideally I would like to have a place that is welcoming, and helpful 🙂

First off guys I not a total noob. I did not think I was breaking any rules. I am sorry for wasting your and my time. This Core One is my first Prusa printer. I used to own a Ender 3 that I upgraded and wrote the program using Git Hub that works. My Grandson still uses it to print with.

This is not about breaking any rules at all. This is about describing the problem of the spindle, printer type, FW version, etc. as accurately as possible. And by that description I mean describing any error messages. A photo of the display with the error will also help. And here mainly the error you caused. Really realize that none of us are sitting at your printer and the only information we have is from the description in the question. And for remote access, I recommend using use either PrusaLink or PrusaConnect. And I have no idea what ConnectTransfer is. Third-party software?

No I haven’t had enough confidence to play with anything like that yet. I upgraded with a Core One kit from Prusa. That’s all I did. What has happened is the day I did the upgrade Prusa released the new software which I didn’t install. I won’t install the new software until I get everything working correctly. This error code I believe is from the upgrade even though I haven’t installed it. My reasoning to that is when i opened Prusa slicer it asked me to upgrade I said yes. When the platter came back it was set on  Mks I don’t know the rest of the printer name as I have never owned one. I set everything back to core one with a

 .06 high flow hot end I set the filiment To Prusa Petg. It’s then I started getting an error that was poorly described in the Prusa app. I was hoping someone would have had the error and could have directed where to look for a solution. That is because I haven’t installed it gone through the Prusa slicer settings and the printer settings and they match.

And again, lack of information! What printer did you upgrade from, where did you get the HF nozzle 0.6, what printer did you set as the output in the slicer. And do you even have the nozzle set in the printer menu? Here everything has to be connected to each other, otherwise you will not get rid of those errors.

I am sorry I missed the nozzel part. I bought the Nozzel with my printer from prusa It's a Obsidian

Ok I brought in my grandson and he figured things out. I downloaded a file I must have tried twice to do this. I had seen this and tried to get rid of one file. I was not sucessful in that endevor. My grandson found the duplicate file and deleted it.     He says the error was the printer did not know which file to use. Thanks for trying.

Now lets talk about what upset me in the people comenting. I am 70yrs old. I try very hard to stay upto date and love learning. I was not complaining I was inquiring as the explanation given from prusa did absaloutly nothing as I had the same profiles as the printer in my slicer. This is a new printer for me. It is my first core XY as well as my first Prusa Printer. There is a learning curve to this stuff. With the line of answers I received I felt like I was being picked on for not understanding the forum. I do realize there are different personalities on every forum. I will stand up for myself I each and every case. Thanks to all that contributed best regards rjb222

Personally, I would start by upgrading firmware, slicer, and slicer profiles all to the latest and greatest versions.  If you just update one without the others, the printer is likely at least to tell you that a new firmware is available when you first start a print.  And make sure that the correct printer profile is selected in the slicer, especially if you upgraded from mk4 to core one or similar.

Prusa Connect needs a 'physical printer' in the slicer; make sure that is for the right model.   I guess when you transferred the file through USB stick you were using a different profile?  The UI there is all a bit confusing.

I think miroslav.h4’s posts were very rude. Especially since it was at least partly due to him not reading the OP’s post carefully, but even if it wasn’t. 
I frankly think HIS type of

 

post should be against forum rules. People come here for help, with different levels of experience in both printing and interacting on social media. This forum should’ve welcoming to them instead of yelling at them for presumed small “infractions”.

Slice something trivial like a cube or a benchy, export the gcode to a file, zip it and attach it to a post. I'll examine it and tell you what it wrong. Most likely you've selected a MK4 or Core One L profile, are slicing with it and attempting to send it to a Core One.

Thank you Hygar. Ill do that. I do know this that since My grandson helped me the printer has accepeed files without sending the error code.
