RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Unfortunately, no. You have to run that *.3mf file through zipping software to create a *.zip file. The forum will not accept any other type of file and will discard it.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
I had to learn how to zip a file. and here it is3dbenchy_0.6n_0.2mm_PLA_COREONE_55m.bgcode today
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Bgcode is useless! Take the project in slicer and save it as 3mf. zip this file and upload it here.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Is that a problem? Prusaslicer will convert bgcode into gcode. File menu, convert.
Bgcode is useless! Take the project in slicer and save it as 3mf. zip this file and upload it here.
gcode and bgcode do carry many of the settings that might cause this particular issue but they are merely the carrier - not the cause, for full analysis both are useless. The project file carries the settings, the (possibly modified) preset files and the part geometry; all of these interact to influence the output.
save your project as a .3mf file
Files > Save Project as
Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.
Cheerio,
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
There's me not reading again, fair enough, I missed the .3mf point! Forum does need updating to allow .3mf files directly. Especially as they are .zip files anyway.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Just downloaded the bgcode rjb2222 provided and converted to gcode and reviewed. The nozzle size is set to 0.6mm (it's in the name of the file as well).
I have a 0.4mm nozzle installed. I copied over to my C1 and tried to print. It shows the message below which would be expected. It's a sanity check. If you have mismatched settings, it could create print quality problems and the printer give you a heads up with a warning before you start.
Current firmware is 6.5.3-RC but I don't think that matters. I recall older versions flagging "The G-code isn't fully compatible" warnings if the file doesn't the settings on the printer.
Check the nozzle settings on the printer screen starting from the home screen:
Settings > Hardware > Printhead > Nozzle Diameter
Make sure your selected nozzle in Prusa Slicer matches the settings on the Printhead screen. And of course, make sure the nozzle you have installed matches both.
@rjb2222, this might be your problem. In general, "The G-code isn't fully compatible" message means the printer model, nozzle diameter, high vs standard flow nozzle, or another slicer vs printer hardware setting disparity was found. They're helpful warnings to avoid potential print problems.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Just to add, I believe disparities in the settings between the slicer and the printer hardware settings are checked at print time for the highlighted items. Any mismatches would trigger the "G-code isn't fully compatible" message. I've triggered a few here and there (by mistake) and appreciated the warnings. Likely saved me some head scratching if the prints went ahead.
[snippet is from the provided bgcode file]
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Thank you for doing this. I do not get the last part of the ERROR code. I only get G-Code isn't fully Compatable
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Ok I changed back to the brass nozzle that came with my printer. All the warnings have quit. I went through my printer files and switched the files back to the original nozzle. When I looked in my slicer I switched everything. The connect option automatically switched to the settings I changed. I am currently waiting for the Index upgrade to become available to everyone. Thanks to all that contributed
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
That's actually odd though that the printer didn't report an incompatible nozzle from the beginning. Instead just printed a line about incompatible g-code and nothing else. I have not seen that.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
OK, a couple of things.
@rjb2222 We do want new users in here and we do like to help others. No one can get in trouble for doing or not doing something if they did not, or do not know. There is post that was created by one of my colleagues to help new users provide the information in order for the community to assist them. The post is here and is worth a look over.
If you follow that and provide that type of information when requesting help that will be helpful and move things along smoother.
You are right, there is a learning curve. Also there is no timeline where anyone should learn and pick up on things, the most important thing is to learn, grow and enjoy what you are doing.
for @miroslav-h4 I can also see their side as well in general. I started off in support with prusa and many other support / help desk jobs before and I can understand the frustrations, and at times how difficult it can be, but the one thing to keep in mind is that everyone begins at the start and at times, it is helpful to reflect back when someone just started off on something new.
I will leave the door open so if there are issues like this where either someone is not providing all the information, or if the requested help veers off into what the OP should or didn't respond with... Just send me a DM on here and I will deal with it 🙂 (don't tag me in a post, DM me... I will see that 10 times faster)

RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Ok let’s shut this thread down for comments. The answer to my original question is a bit complicated. I sat down and worked through the sequence that occurred before I posted this question. I downloaded a file from printable my wife wanted. For some unknown reason my slicer switched to a mks printer when I did that. I did realize it had done that and tried to print that file for her. That was the first time I got the error. I did notice post print that on my next file the platter said mks on it I switched it back to core one and thought that’s done and dusted. But it did matter what I tried to send to the printer through connect the error code reappeared. Yet it did not have the code when I used a usb. So I uninstalled my slicer and downloaded and installed a new one. Then I got my grandson to come over and look at what the primer said and the files in my slicer. That’s when he discovered the duplicate file and deleted that as well as telling me I should put all my files through Fusion and save them in the 3rd profile from there my slicer slices the file for my core one profile. The only reason I figured this sequence out it it happened again last night there was a coin holder for a key chain that my wife wanted I downloaded it and my slicer plate changed to the mks profile again. I recognized it and shutdown my slicer as I could not switch it while.the mks file was on the slicer. I reopened the slicer and it was still on the mks plate which I was able to switch back to my core one profile. So it was a error I caused by assuming my slicer would slice its own file in my core one profile. The switching of the hot end I don’t think had anything to do with the problem. Enough said thanks all best regards rjb2
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
I assume this happened when you downloaded a .3mf file from printables. This format bundles the 3D model with printer and filament profiles, which can be great and useful, but can also lead to confusion.
To prevent the slicer from selecting a wrong profile when opening a .3mf file, select "Import 3D models only"
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Yes that’s the answer.
RE:
You see, if you had described your problem right at the beginning as you described it in your post 23/03/2026 3:34 pm, it would have been solved in a single answer as you were answered above. This is a common mistake that people make when downloading from Printables. You would save yourself the work of reinstalling the slicer and a lot of other work. The speed and complexity of the help depends on the most accurate description of the problem, because none of us are sitting at your printer and when trying to help we have to rely only on the information provided. And the more of it there is, the faster the problem is solved. Well, let this be a lesson for you for next time.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Did you actually read my post? I statedin it I did not realize until last night what happened. It was because the smae thingoccured last night. How was I to inform you or any other reader that what I did not know or understand till last night. You sir are a problem please keep outof my stuff if all you are going to do is stir shit.
RE: Error Code since Upgrade.
Locking thread for several reasons, and listed in no certain order.
Poster requested it locked.
Question was asked and answered.
Turning into just an argument at this point, and goes against one of the community rules.
And as far as who got the last word in… that would be me.
