@newprinter - Don't be fooled by forum bias: At least 100,000 core one printers must be in use around the world by now, users generally only arrive here if they have a problem, at any one time we have a dozen or so people complaining, a vanishingly small proportion of the whole.
The majority of problems reported are related to keeping the printer clean and lubricated and the filament dry. Many of the rest are failed attempts to print downloaded files that are very badly designed for 3D printing - sometimes impossible AI fantasies. And yes, there are a few hardware problems but even a proportion of those are self inflicted by users who refuse to believe in a simple cause but immediately jump to arcane intricacies.

I finished building mine a couple of days ago and love it. Unless you want the equivalent of a bland washing machine to factory farm articulating lizards, a Prusa is a fantastic device with incredible print quality. You might need to be able to think through problems with 3D printing on any machine, but I love the company, the support and the community. I'm amazed how much of a show of patience there's generally been in this thread from those willing to help.

And there is the type of user that does "drive by's" They post a problem, we provide answers then they disappear.

I guess about half of those realise the solution as a result of describing and articulating the problem some of the rest read the answer and get their fix but don't bother to reply and some just forget they asked.
