CORE/MMU

I'm trying to decide whether or not to purchase the CORE/MMU combination or a Bambu with their AMS.  Having had two Prusa's I'd like to stay with them.  I'm limited on space, so having MMU a separate device hurts.  Has any found a way to stack the MMU over the CORE1.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, stacking the MMU3 is possible now. There is also the 3rd party CoreBoxx solution which is better. I would ask what you intend to use the MMU3 for? Is it mult-color, multi-material or both? Prusa is soon to announce a Bontech INDX based tool-changer so you may wish to go that route instead (which is what I'm doing)

I would hold for the moment, With both named companies looking to shortly release their multi-tool solutions, you may find that these suit your style of printing better, and they'll future proof you more then the MMU3 at this stage......

Switching from Prusa to Bambu is a bit like switching from BMW to BYD... it's pretty, it works well at first... then you have to replace the Chinese bike because there's no support, no parts... But go ahead with confidence if the marketing hype seduces you.

MK3S + MMU2 migrée vers une MK4 +MMU3 , puis vers MK4S MMU3, puis upgrade vers Core One, Elegoo Mars, bricole sur Home assistant, arduino, 8266, Esp32, kicad, Freecad et Fusion 360
