Calibration fails
Hello.
Im not sure if this is the right section but i hope so. 🙂
I have finished my upgrade from MK4S to Core One . Unfortunately i cant seem to make it through the calibration. First i had problem with x, y axis . Then i put the printer little bit apart. And then it worked after a few troubleshooting . And i went through all the calibration tests. Then i put the top lid back and sudenly it started to fail. So i thought okay lets do a factory reset. So i did and started with completely put together pri ter and now o cant even get through the ventilator test…. Please help .
some observations . : when tryin y axis hotend moves in front right corner as if it is trying to find the corner but cant. X axis is fine Z it wont even try . Hotend and heatbed was fine but cant test it jow since ventilators dont work. I wont mention door senzor which works but i cant get through the calibration without cheating… :/
Thanks in advance for any help . 🙂
RE: Calibration fails
Check the pulleys on your X and Y motors. Many people have fallen into the trap of putting them on the motors in the same direction but they're required to be toothed part of the pulley closest to the motor for the X motor, away from the motor on Y. https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/5-corexy-assembly_835522#843284
As it's a new upgrade the best place for help is Prusa Support via chat - you will need your serial number.
Cheerio,
RE: Calibration fails
I agree with @diem, the spectrum of possible problem at this stage is so wide that is requires some sistematic checks...
Keep in mind that, even if you achieve nirvana, for a few weeks you will need to retune the belts...
