Print came loose and got trapped between bed and wall blocking Z axis movement.

Well there is a new problem.  Lets try that print again but with brims !

I was trying to print the Elephant. I managed to get one made - had to reprint a few parts that failed on that attempt.

On the most recent tries, the some of the parts lost bed adhesion (not the five that the author recommended brims for).  The parts slid of the bed and got wedged between the bed and the wall.  That prevented the lowering of the Z axis.

required a new Z-axis calibration.

Well it happens. It always helps others to state what filament you were using. I assume PLA? Also, how are you cleaning the print bed?

Yes, PLA.  The usual soap and warm water.

What I am looking for is the best process/procedure to respond when the printer gets something trapped between the bed and the printer wall.

Such as:  Resent printer. Disable motors. Manually Raise bed.  Remove the trapped part. Reset again. Recalibrate Z-axis.

I suppose since the side walls are just held in by rivets, we can probably rip the wall out in an emergency. That would release a pin.

I had a spaghetti print jam up the print bed and skewed it severely. I just pulled out the plastic with pliers and ran print bed calibration.

Try the Cyro print beds instead. PLA sticks to it like flies on (you know).
