Is it possible to skip Nozzle cleaning?

Since it fails for me 9 out of 10 times. Is it somehow possible to skip nozzle cleaning?

You need to ensure the nozzle does not have any crud that keeps the strain gauge from registering contact at the same "point" of the nozzle. You might have filament that doesn't get gooey at 170c, try raising the soak temperature from whatever it is to something a bit higher. See if that helps the cleaning bit.

It doesn't seem to do work anyway.  I think this is why I'm seeing it probe the same point more than once and some inconstancy in first layer on the Core One.  Not sure what changed as I never saw this issue with the MK4s.
