Core One + MMU3
Quick question, I just ordered the complete MMU3 kit for my core One. I have this funny habit that I like to read the manual before I get the kit. Is the installation manual available already ? Tried to find it, but couldn't

Same

I think it's here -- hard to find, since it is an appendix to the general MMU3 building instructions:

RE: Core One + MMU3
Yes, I went through it. If the complete MMU3 then see the MMU3 assembly instructions. They have been updated to include sections for the CoreOne.

Cancelled my order, too much faff... Lets see what the new multi color solution will do when they launch it
Also not enough place. Silly me supposed all fit on top. Yeah no, it doesn't
RE: Core One + MMU3
I should have canceled mine. Stuck with assemble your own unit after paying for assembled unit. Printer is awesome...MMU3, think twice!
RE: Core One + MMU3
so apparently I’m not the only person that happened to… Good to know. I placed an order for the MMU3 early on and when I got it, it ended up being a kit that you had to build as opposed to what I thought I ordered. Not to mention that the description on the website actually changed after I purchased it.
I immediately had a problem with it, and they told me that I had clearly not built it properly. But when I tell you I followed the instructions religiously, that’s not an exaggeration. Prusa support told me I had to take it apart and start all over. I did inspect it and there is nothing wrong with the build; looks like the MMU three is highly sensitive to the PTF tubes, not being flawlessly straight going into the unit. I might be wrong, but it suddenly started working after I printed somebody’s straightening add-on for the filament input side.
so far I’m not really impressed… And I ended up with an H2D due to very luckily winning a 50% off certificate from a local computer store chain. the difference between the two units is striking in that it’s very clear why they’re kicking everybody’s butt. multi material printing is not an afterthought, but a fact of life on that unit. Whereas both the support and some Kluge aspects of the MMU3 don’t paint as pretty a picture for Prusa. Obviously, that will completely change with the Indx solution, but I’m really wondering whether I want to do anything with the core one as opposed to just put in the vortex solution for the H2D.
I have reached out to my acquaintances in the military to see if they wanna let us use our high-speed cameras and have the EOD team detonate the MMU3, and possibly the core one. I go back-and-forth on how annoyed I am related to the whole experience.

That would be coolest thing ever... "Can the Core One survive a block of C4?" Nope... Myth Busted.
