PrusaLink_Local_File_Selection

When I try to add a sliced (by PrusaSlicer) file within the STORAGE area of PrusaLink, in Windows, it asks me to select *.gcode files not *.bgcode files which is what PrusaSlicer exports as.
If I change the file selection to ALL FILES *.* then the .bgcode files are listed and I can select and print them.

Either there is a missing selection for *.bgcode files or someone missed off the 'b' in the programming or I'm doing something wrong???

Hope this helps
Chas

If it's fixable, FIX IT don't dump it!

I agree,

Maybe we should make a feature request for this. I just uploaded 4 files to my printer and had to switch to "*.*" each time.

Should be an easy one.

RE: PrusaLink_Local_File_Selection

I'm a new user to PrusaLink since I got my Mk4, I noticed right away that it is a bit awkward to get sliced files from PrusaSlicer to PrusaLink.  Sure would be nice to have a new button pop up in the 'Export G-code' window (like the current 'Export to SD card' icon that gets added whenever a USB or SD card is inserted into the PC) to allow the newly-sliced model to be transmitted directly to the printer if PrusaLink is active.

Thoughts?

I have the same concern, but I *swear* I had this exact feature working at some point.  I was able to slice an .STL file and then immediately pass it along to PrusaLink (or PrusaConnect - I have trouble keeping these separated in my head)

So for an unconnected reason (adding more filament profiles) I re-ran the configuration wizard.  After that, the 'Send to Connect' button showed up when I next sliced a model.  Go figure.
