ESP32-Camera is not seen in Prusa Connect (Miroslav Pivovarski custom hardware)

Hello all

What could be the reason that after configuring the ESP32 camera according to Miroslav Pivovarský's instructions and entering the token from Prusa Connect, I can see the camera in http://prusa-esp32cam.local/ but it does not appear in the Prusa Connect window?

Best regards

Mariusz

I would like to add that in Prusa Connect I can see Wi-Fi IPv4 address; Wi-Fi MAC address;Wi-Fi SSID address but the snapshot is NOT available,

Camera is connected to my WiFi and as I mentioned before and I can  see snapshots http://prusa-esp32cam.local/ .

Any idea how to solve it?

Best regards

Mariusz

are you sure the printer is reporting as online? if not then preview from cameras will not be visible.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Yes. The printer is online. I am using Prusa 2.8.0 so I can directly check status of the Printer.

I am using Firefox web browser as a default. Win 10.

Camera status in prusa-esp32 cam:

Status: Connected

SSID: I_8FA38D

Signal: 82% / -59dBm

IP Address: 192.168.0.13

mDNS: http://prusa-esp32cam.local

RE:

Hello, I have a similar problem since updating from 1.0.3 to 1.1.0-rc2.Yes, I asked the question on GIT but didn't get a response.

https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-ESP32-Cam/issues/53

I have tried several times with two cameras of the type: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0CXXYGNL4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1These run very smoothly with firmware 1.0.3. To stay up to date, I installed FW 1.1.0-rc2 in the cameras. The cameras start and log into the WiFi. When connecting to Prusa Connect, the cameras do not continue and the following error message is displayed in the log: Connection to domain failed! Error: -1 - ERROR - Generic error: 0 ,BA:Waiting for first connectionIt is also interesting that the NTP synchronization does not work. The error message appears:Waiting for NTP time synchronization:System time: 0000-00-00_00-00-00Both cameras work fine with FW 1.0.3.I also did a complete reset via pin 12 to GND and then deleted the ESO32 Flash and Download Tools.Does anyone have an idea how I can continue the search for the cause?

Hello Mariusz, if you put a memory card in the camera you can load a log file.
Please take a look to see if there is any interesting information in the log file.

Same issue here, flashed 1.1.0.  All steps seem to have worked fine, I can see the snapshot in the cam's web interface, copied token, etc.   Just don't see it show up in Connect.

Nevermind!  After about 15 mins, the camera finally showed up in Connect.  Didn't realize it would take quite so long...
