Question about the filtration system

I really want to print some ASA in my enclosure, but for that I'll need filtration because the printer is located right next to me in a smallish room. I had a look at the Filtration System from Prusa, but I think that their power solution with the basic board and an additional power supply is both clumsy and uncomfortable - not being able to switch the stuff using something like Home Assistant seems oddly outdated to me.

My idea was to use a Shelly 2.5 smart relay switch connected to the printer PSU to control light and filtration both with physical buttons and using Home Assistant. This will work fine with 24V DC, so I know that my LED strip won't be aproblem - but how about the filtration unit? Can anybody confirm that the fan will work fine with 24V input? In the instructions, one can easily see that the PSU for the basic board  is rated at 24V, but I don't know if there's some kind of voltage regulation on the basic board. If that were the case, I'd probably use something like a NodeMCU instead of the Shelly.

Oh, and does the filtration system have any kind of fan speed regulation? Or does the fan simply blow at full power all the time?

RE:

original fan runs on DC 24V - you can see it on the screenshot https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/7-advanced-filtration-system-add-on_361946 or here

RE: Question about the filtration system

Looking at pictures in the manual or this thread https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/project-oni-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/add-on-accessories-arrived-with-pictures/ I wonder if fan/lights turn on if the device looses power.

Otherwise you'd probably be better in connecting to the buttons via nodemcu and simulate button press 😉
