Enclosure Shipping Date
Hi All,
Just wondering whether there's any news on the enclosure shipping date? According to the product page it is due to start shipping this month and I was wondering whether that is still the plan? Or has someone mentioned any delays somewhere I haven't seen?
I'm looking forward to getting rid of my cardboard box when printing ABS 🙂

Just saw that the Orderpage for the enclosure has moved its starting date until August, "Shipping starts in August 2022". So i guess we just have to wait some more... But it feels good that we atleast have some information! 😀 Lets hope this trend stops here though!

I don't like the silence... I only was able to scrape the money together recently to purchase this. I am worried that I might get mine until December... who knows. Thinking maybe to cancel the order and just buy filament and save some money?

Just an idea fwiw: Instead of ventilating personal worries and cancellation considerations about an individual order here (although this is a Prusa forum it is not generally known for Prusa providing answers to customer questions about their orders, just like Amazon appears to not reply to the apparently countless one-star product reviews reading "where is my product, please get back to me?"), one may consider to just ask the support about his or her order to get the worries out of the way and to make an educated decision. Order fulfilment may even vary for different locations for any sort of reason, including port congestions, freight problems of inbound materials (check out the world economic crisis out there) and other things. This is what they´re there for, but I might be oldschool. Should I be interested to find out the status of our order for the enclosure; I´ll certainly do it that way.

No need for that, really. All I´m trying to convey is that you and all the others asking will most likely not receive a response from Prusa here and non of us users here will have any insights in your order. To chat with the support, log into your Prusa account (which is a prerequisite for any order) and then click on the chat window appearing in the lower right.

I ordered on 1st July 2022 every time I check the shipping table the date has moved further back.

Just wanted to share my experience. I ordered 2 enclosures. 1 full kit on 5/6 and another of 7/21. As is sits today, I received the first order w/o any accessories and after checking with support on couple different occasions, it seems they still have no ETA on when they might ship. In regards to my second order, as others mentioned, my original estimate has been pushed out a couple times. This latest delay being almost 2 weeks which would indicate inventory is slowing down faster than expected when considering the previous delay extensions.
All in all… It’s getting tough waiting this out. The printer delay is one thing but the it’s getting kind of concerning we haven’t heard much on the accessories. From what I gather, no one has received these items and it’s almost 50% of the total enclosure cost. That’s truly the hard pill to swallow.
