The quality of glass beads is an important consideration. In addition to color and size, they arealso safe and effective in abrasive blasting process. Compared to other blast media, glass beadscan reduce the risk of silicosis and other health issues. They can clean a surface for severalcycles, usually four to six, and can be used in both pressure and suction blasting equipment. Forexample, a glass bead is used to clean a steel floor.
