TPU refusing to enter nozzle within tool head
Hi all,
Hoping to get some insight on printing TPU with the Prusa XL. I've looked through plenty of posts here that describe issues surrounding the PTFE tubes, which is an issue we've avoided. We printed using 80A TPU a month or so ago, which was a success. Every time after that however, the filament gets stuck within the nextruder head; during loading, the TPU is pulled by the gear but seems to miss the entrance of the nozzle, pushing TPU around inside the nextruder and getting stuck. We cannot figure out why this issue is occurring now, only that it is occurring on both of our printers after the initial success I mentioned. It's almost certainly an issue with TPU specifically, as we have printed with plenty of other filaments in the mean time.
Thanks in advance.

I generally bypass the ptfe tubes and the side sensor (disable it or fool it with a filament scrap) and feed directly to the toolhead from above. It is important to slacken off the idler pressure as shown in the video. The filament MUST be dry.
Cheerio,
