Z-Axis Not Moving Upward After Enclosure Upgrade
I have experienced this twice: 1) After performing the enclosure upgrade, then 2) Finally putting the Sandwich and Buddy Covers back on. The Z-axis seems to lose its upward movement as if it no longer recognizes its position. Under Control > Move Axis > Z-Axis, it would go to the bottom, but not back up. I have fixed this by repeatedly moving the Z-axis down to the bottom and continuing to dial it lower, with the mm increasing, and the XL making a complaining noise. This seems to then set a new lower bottom coordinate. I then move the Z-axis back up as far as it will go. I repeat this until I can get the Z-axis to get to the top position. I can only do a little at a time, or else the XL will make a loud humming noise, and I have to reset it. Is this a known issue?
NOTE: The enclosure upgrade proper is likely not the issue; however, the XL had printed fine before the upgrade. Reflashing the firmware (6.2.6) did not resolve the problem. Also, I had printing to get done, so I left the board covers off after the first fix to do it, and everything printed fine (three days ago). Then, I put the covers back on this morning and had the same Z-axis issue.
