2-Tool XL 2nd dock calibration fails

So I made the unfortunate choice of upgrading the firmware to 5.1.0-beta and now the printer won't successfully calibrate the 2nd tool dock. No problems calibrating dock #1, but during dock #2 calibration, when the printer is supposed to home XY with the tool attached, it first moves the changer all the way to the right gantry block so that it pushes the lock slides open and the tool detaches (and drops) from the changer. Even if I manage to hold the tool on the changer, lock it back on-the-fly while it's moving and the printer manages to put it back to the dock, the result is "failure to park" (or something like that).

The docks are solidly in the place, no loose or missing screws or anything.

Tried multiple factory resets, downgrading the firmware to 4.7.5 (no help) and later to 4.7.2 (multiple successful dock and offset calibrations done earlier), but the problem persists.

Anyone else run into similar problem?

Well then... Turns out I had goofed by myself... Just before updating firmware, I had removed the hotend assembly from tool #2 for cleaning and while putting it back, the connector on the lower right corner on the dwarf board was not pushed all the way in... It's not necessary to disconnect that connector, but I find it easiser to route the hotend wires with it out of the way.
