Poor XL 5T 0.6mm nozzle PETG printing with InputShaper Version of Prusaslicer

I have an early XL 5T that was shipped with 0.6mm nozzles. I print mostly PETG. The "Original Prusa XL 5T 0.6 Nozzle" printer profile works great. The "Original Prusa XL 5T Input Shaper 0.6 Nozzle" DOES NOT!  Prints with support usually fail. It's as if the nozzle can't heat the PETG fast enough. It gets poor layer adhesion. I know I could slow things down or up the nozzle temp, but it would be nice if the official profile worked. Anyone else have these issues? or has everyone switched to 0.4mm nozzles?

Mine too came with 0.6mm nozzles 'though now I have 0.4mm nozzles on two of the toolheads but those don't get a lot of use except for print-in-place mechanisms and multicolour text/graticule labelling.

I go to a lot of trouble to avoid designing supported prints but where necessary I generally try to make it possible to support with a different material.

I rarely use input shaper, most of my prints are functional, especially those in PETG so for me interlayer adhesion is usually more important.  You are using grid infill; this is frequently problematic with polyamides, try using cubic fill.

Cheerio,
