How do I keep the tool assignments, when updating model?

Able to assign tools and print multi-material or multi-colour. Is there a way of keeping those assignments when I update the file? Or better still assign materials in Fusion360, which then translate to tools in PrusaSlicer?

Save your project as 3MF?

Brand new to 3D printing and my 5-tool XL is my first 3D Printer! I have done massive amounts of research though, so I'm not starting completely from square one....

Thanks, that is needed. I think the solution is to add the filament in the order that it is displayed. Combining objects that use the same filiment. I was hoping there was a way of selecting Prusa XL as my printer. The be able to assign different tools. The other Prusa printers are there.

I think I have found a way to do it. Always save to file and then use reload from disk menu item.
