Enclosure Mentioned in 6.00 Firmware

It looks like Prusa is close to releasing an enclosure for the XL since it is enabled in the 6.00 firmware.  I am curious as to why the firmware is needed for an enclosure.  Perhaps an exhaust or filter fan?  What do you think is in the enclosure ?

If you turn the option on, it tries to connect to a fan. So there's at least one fan in it.

RE: Enclosure Mentioned in 6.00 Firmware

The enclosure could be designed to maintain a consistent temperature, which is crucial for printing with materials prone to warping. Firmware control would allow for precise temperature management within the enclosure. An exhaust or filter fan would help in venting out fumes and maintaining air quality, especially when printing with materials that emit particles or fumes. To ensure optimal printing conditions, controlling the humidity within the enclosure might be necessary, which would require firmware integration. Given the high temperatures involved in 3D printing, a fire suppression system could be a safety feature included in the enclosure. The enclosure might have a modular, stackable design for easy expansion or storage, which could involve firmware for managing multiple stacked units.
