XL 2 head, purge off the side of the bed?

The XL appears to do the same as the Mk3, Mk4 which is purge right at the start, front left of the bed.  Unlike the Mk3 and Mk4 which do this on the WHITE LINE on the sheet, the XL appears to dump it over the edge, according to Prusa this is by design... really? (see image)

Gets even more crazy looking when you print 5 colors.  Extruders 4 and 5 are primed on the right side of the right most tab on the plate.

Many Thanks

I mean, you may argue with its value but if it wasn't by design, I'm sure they would have changed it by now. I was initially quite confused by it but actually have started to like it as it makes it super easy to remove those primelines because on the XL there is space to have them dangle there unlike the bedslingers, on which it requires a bit more work to pull them off. I guess you could change the startup gcode to adjust where it prints the prime lines

I didn't like it at first but I've gotten used to it now and yeah, I think it does tend to let you pull them off there easier.

lol.  Filament string catchers.  I have since taken them off.  I do have brushes though that help catch any junk on extruder
