Problem with dock wipe thing (the one with the orange silicone band arround it)

So far I am VERY happy with the XL, the one thing that that I'm surprised about is seemingly no documentation/photos on how to replace the wipe things in the docks (perhaps someone can point me to it??)

Two of my dock wipes were either shipped very loose, or during calibration they were pushed away, this is leading to a globby mess in the tower or long strands of fulfillment that are being dragged to the tower.

I don't fully understand the point of the second longer screw (blue arrow) with the spring underneath it - perhaps this is to change the (z) level of the wiper?

Anyway, I'd love to print the second/topmost plastic part that holds the metal stick and the silicon band, that's what broke... but apparently this requires polycarbonate? ...which I don't have.  Prusa's pretty nice about providing spare parts, but I didn't get any of these, I did get two more of the silicone orange band which is nice but I don't believe that's the problem here.

I think these are an amateur solution and a weak point of the printer. I'd like to know how to set these up, not that I should have to. I'm sure someone other than Prusa will develop a better solution. For now we're left with a ring pull and elastic band.

RE:

The long screw marked with blue arrow on your picture adjusts the height of the nozzle seal. The other screw holds the plastic parts, spring plate and the silicone band together.

Here's the adjustment guide video, though looks like the nozzle seal in the video is a bit different shape (older version?)

The printable parts are here, if I understand the instructions correctly that part is PETG

Thanks, I debated with myself and Prusa live chat if those were PETG or not, they look different, at least a different color.  I am going to try printing the two new ones I need in PETG and we'll see how it goes.

These are not for wiping. These are nozzle “sealers” which one can assume are to keep drooling in the nozzle. As I’ve tried to tell folks during the past few years with IDEX machines, “Set Retraction on tool disable” for each extruder to about 11mm. This retracts the material out of the melt zone before parking the tool and most of the time eliminates drooling while parked. Unfortunately, this setting currently detracts when the tool goes on to the print, but most of the time it works fine. I also set it to do infill first so that if there’s a bit more material, any blobs are in the infill.

These should cost much less, and are out of stock.  With my limited 3d experience they look like a modern version of a hunk of thick leather which is what I think used to be used for problems like this 50 years ago
