Platform gets stickier with use?

My first prints were nice and easy to pop off the platform using a plastic spatula (everything printed with a platform that has a 45 degree edge). Then after 5 or so prints I had to escalate to a metal spatula, but the bases would still come up in one piece. Then the bases would come up, but they were breaking. Now it's gotten to the point where I have to chisel remnants of the bases off the platform.

When the parts came up nicely I would just wipe the platform off with a dry paper towel. If I had issues with it failing to stick to the platform, I'd wipe it down with 99% IPA after wiping the plate clean. As it has escalated I've found I need to spay the platform with Mean Green while wiping it off to help get all the little debris off after chipping parts of the base off.

Print settings (50s for early layers and 8.5s for the rest at 0.025 layers) have not changed and I'm always using the same resin (Elegoo water washable grey).

I know the usual problem is getting the print to stick, but beyond being a PITA I expect sooner or later a print is going to get damaged. So is this normal and is there a way to reduce the adhesion some?

The rougher the build plate the better the adhesion to the build plate

I've ordered Wham Bam plates for use in my SL1. None were the right size, so I ordered one 5mm too long, but the right width, and I'm going to cut the flexible metal plates back to the right size. Looking forward to testing it! The Wham Bam plates are flexible so the prints should simply pop off. See https://whambamsystems.com/fbs-for-resin

After I ordered it I discovered the local distributor had it in stock at a lower price... I'll let you know how I go.

@michael-19

Any update on this?.... I have be looking at resin printers lately and saw videos on wham bams.  I'm kind of surprised with all the spring sheets for the Prusa filament printers this would be one of the first things they did for the SL1.

This makes sense on all printers.  FDM and Resin printers and removal of prints will cause micro damage to the build surface ofver time and should increase adhesion.
