Extra vat and build platform
So I want to have a vat for clear resin and one for opaque ones. I just ordered the two, and was wondering if anyone else has had experience in this direction, including storage of a vat out of rotation.
Also, I’m wondering if an additional build platform would be usable with the same calibration as the original so that I can clean and cure while the next print is underway. Would probably require tight manufacturing tolerances. I wouldn’t want to crack the LCD on my new toy professional work machine that I definitely need.

I have found that the resin gets under the edge of the vat and could potentially color transparent resin. I have a second vat that I am using only for clear for this purpose. I cleaned it with soap and water and just have it stored on its side to avoid dust collecting on it.
As for the build plate - I also have a spare - you cannot swap it out without recalibrating. The print fails, unfortunately.

That sucks, I was afraid of this. I wish that maybe we didn't have to go through the vat leveling at least - just the plate calibration. Is that possible?
