Workspace Solutions for SL1S and CW1S

I’ve had a MK3+ at work and at home for about a year. I made an enclosure for the work unit using aluminum extrusions and plexi. It kind of grew organically. I plan on making a Gen 2. The side panels are fixed on 3 sides which makes debugging the MMU2 unit very difficult.

We are ordering the SL1S/CW1S bundle. I would be interested in seeing how others have setup their SL1S and CW1S units. How much space do you recommend? Tips for using in an office environment?, etc.?

Also, I see that the SL1S has a carbon filter. How noticeable are the odors in an office environment?

RE: Workspace Solutions for SL1S and CW1S

I am so excited for you. I love my Sl1S. I live in a duplex and as I did not want odors in my living space I am set up  in the garage.  The printer and washer have small footprints, but you will need  space for filtering used resin and cleaning plates and tanks and such. I have a spare build plate and a spare tank. I found it useful to use filament boxes so I could stack and protect my cleaned plates and tanks without taking up  a lot of table room.  The odor is mild and doesn't bother me, but it is there. I think most of the odor comes from filtering the used resin and wiping the tank with paper towels rather than the operation of the printer.
