LOOKING AT BUYING SL1S... QUESTION ABOUT RESIN COMPATABILITY

I WORK FOR A JEWELRY STORE AND WE DO ALOT OF CUSTOM DESIGNS FOR CUSTOMERS. WE CURRENTLY USE AN OLDER ENVISIONTEC MACHINE WITH THEIR EPIC M CASTABLE RESIN. WE WOULD MOST LIKELY LIKE TO CONTINUE USING THIS SAME RESIN AS WE HAVE HAD GREAT RESULTS.

HOW DOES THE RESIN COMPATABILITY WORK WIHT THIS MACHINE? I AM NOT VERY TECH SAVY WHEN IT COMES TO THIS KIND OF STUFF SO ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIEATED!

DOES ANYONE ELSE USE AN SL1S FOR JEWELRY? HOW DO YOU LIKE IT??

RE: LOOKING AT BUYING SL1S... QUESTION ABOUT RESIN COMPATABILITY

The SL1S is compatible with any 405nm resin. This means the resin cures at a UV wavelength of 405nm and the printer uses a UV light source of 405nm to cure the resin. I have no experience with casting jewelry.

I've had my SL1S for a week and I am loving it. You can order sample prints from the Prusa Eshop.

Check out Clear Mind Jewelry on YouTube - he has used an SL1 to print castable resin for jewelry and recently upgraded his SL1 to an SL1S.  Here's his review and he has other videos that you would probably be interested in:
