Is it normal for Z axis to bang against the top when homing?

I noticed my SL1 (pre-assembled) bangs against the top of the z axis a few times when homing, or 30+ times when cancelling mid print. Is this normal or is it a sign of my z limit switch not working? The fact it passes the setup wizard and calibration makes me think its not a failure.

Yes I think it is.

When my SL1 homes it hits the stop at the top and bounces back down then repeats. If you look on the top right side you can see a bolt and that is what it homes against. The stepper drivers on the mainboard can sense the motor stalling and then reverses it's direction. Same as the homing of the MK3 if you have one.
