MK3.5 with MMU3 - bypass filament select screen?

Hello all. I have had an MMU3 with my MK3S+ prior to the upgrade and the upgrade to 3.5 has been seamless, prints are great. However now every single print, whether sliced with or without MMU mode selected in PrusaSlicer, shows a prompt on the printer to select the tool for the print. How do I get rid of this screen and go straight to print? I want this gone because I would like to use the WiFi capability of the 3.5, but because this screen appears every time, and because Prusa Connect does not have MMU controls and says the printer needs attention, the WiFi functionality is effectively pointless. For the record, the MK3S+ with MMU3 never prompted a filament select screen.

I've tried it multiple ways - have the filament preloaded, have it loaded into nozzle, change G-code checks, slice it in MMU and non-MMU mode, you name it. I just can't figure out how to bypass the screen or otherwise tell the printer to default to for example tool 1. I really want to use WiFi with this and is a major reason why I decided to upgrade, besides the improved speed and future-proofing of my machine, and I do not want to remove the MMU because I have a balance of single color and multicolor prints that I print regularly and this was not an issue with the MK3S+.

Can you simply turn the mmu3 off on the menu

I have the same problem now.   Though technically, it's not a problem, but when I send a file to print from PrusaSlicer, I already selected which filament I wanted to use in PrusaSlicer, why then does it prompt me to select which filament to use on the printer.  It should just go ahead and start the print.  I am using a MMU3 printer profile in PrusaSlicer, but do I have to write custom gcode as well?

Any insight would be great, thanks in advance.

this is effectively a prompt, to confirm that you have the correct filament type loaded in the mmu3

I remember writing a reply here but it seems it either got deleted or the post never went through?

I understand that it's a prompt to confirm the filament that is loaded, but again it makes WiFi effectively unusable. If I need something printed then I can select a file from work and come back home to have it finished. This was my process with the MINI+ and it was wonderful, but since the MK3.5 MMU3 prompts to confirm the filament, even if I sliced it with the MMU3 profile and a specific toolhead selected, the printer at home prompts the confirmation and I need to be home to click print, so I basically can't use WiFi... in certain cases. Even in actual multimaterial prints, with for example TH1 and TH2 called out, the printer still asks which toolhead I'd like to use, which I think is redundant especially when it obstructs WiFi functionality.

Having had played around with the printer with MMU3 still plugged in, I found out that the prompt doesn't show up if there is no change to the materials loaded, the status of the MMU, and if the printer is not turned off or reset. It will prompt the material confirmation on the first print after the printer is turned on, and when you load a new filament into a new toolhead or replace the filament in one of the already-loaded toolheads. After that initial prompt you can set a print from Prusa Connect and it will go straight to the print without prompting. I have had a few cases where it prompted anyway when I thought there is no change in material but I am still experimenting.

All this can be avoided if this control was added to Prusa Connect, but as it stands it throws an Attention warning and doesn't proceed until you manually check the printer and click Print on it. With the recent release of firmware 6.0.0 and the added MMU3 functionality to the MK4 I am hoping Prusa is working on expanding Prusa Connect functionality or otherwise refines the WiFi + MMU3 experience.

My MMU3 did this also. Until I loaded on the filament types in the MMU3. It shows you only have one filament type 'Loaded' . Once you change and load all positions when you slice and set the extruder to use, sending from Connect or to PrusaLink the printer goes straight Print screen. Setting 'Ready' and confirming will start the print normally.
