X-Axis calibration fails, only shows red X. How am I supposed to know what "failed"?

Before upgrading from my mk3s+ I could see belt tension numbers, etc. Was this a step back?

I had this issue when building my mk3.5

The issue was the zip tire at the back of the print head who blocks the head before the end on the power side.

I changed the side of the zip and the head could go to the end of the X axis and validate it.

the right side of the x-carriage sits flush with the x-end idler, so don't think it's a zip tie issue, but I appreciate that tip.  Is there a way to see belt tension in the 3.5 UI?

You can use the Phone app for belt tension.

Sadly, I've done this and it says it is "tuned". Old UI I could go into info and see belt status, it would tell you the x/y numbers.

I just upgraded a mk3s and I had to loosen my x axis belt tension completely to get it to pass the self test.

Well, this ended up being my fault. When I upgraded from MK3S to S+, I didn't switch out the bolts on the fan to the lower-profile ones. Problem now solved.
