Not wiping with filament change for support color.

I have a recessed lettering I want the support color to match, while the rest of the print is the main color. Extruder 2 used for main, 3 for the letters (all PLA). This is a face down print flipped would require way more support material of extruder 2.

In Prusa slicer I set support material to extruder 3 and the print starts with extruder 2 for the main part, then moves to the letters, switches filament to 3 and tries to print without anything coming out. It never started the wipe tower. Using 2 for supports leaves undesired color marks on edges inside the lettering.

What setting do I need for it to use a specific extruder for supports AND have it wipe during the change?

Any advice appreciated. 💕

P.S.

MK4 with MMU3, Prusa Slicer, all latest updates and firmware.

Well I realized the Wipe Tower was turned off. But to turn it on it changes support material back to 0 which is use last extruder, which is the wrong color. Why can't I choose the extruder I want AND get a wipe tower. All PLA, no water soluble. If I do want to use water soluble do I have to make a different tower?

*frustrated* 🫤

Make sure you set an exruder for everything, leave nothing on default...
