MMU3 + Bontech LGX extruder issue with feeding the filament

Hello everyone,

The MMU3 is driving me nuts, like many people here. I will try to explain the issue I have as clear as possible:

I have the following setup Prusa MK3S+ + Bontech LGX extruder + MMU3—all with the latest Firmware.

The filament loads into the idler and then when I press in Prusa's menu " load to extruder" the filament flows down into the extruder, but, as soon the IR sensor detects the filament, it stops right there and it won't reach the gears of the extruder.

Here is a video that I sent to prusa's support team: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C8j55J3eP4O-cfLHibJ8Dp6aEhvKDgem/view?usp=sharing

I have 2 theories,

  1. the IR sensor is messing with the code
  2. I must change the parameter M701 (load filament) in the EEPROM.

in case you think it is the case 2, I am not an advanced user so I would appreciate it if somebody could explain, step by step, how to modify the EEPROM. I have seen a lot of videos and read many forums, but they skip steps and I get stuck. I have managed to install EEPROM editor in Octoprint but it doesn't show too many options:

Thank you very much in advance.
