"File is not complete - continue to print?"

I was trying to print two things that have color change on bottom, but single color beyond it. (i.e. trying to print MK4 LCD with different color fonts and knob with different color ring). When I sliced it and insert it to my MK3S+ with MMU3, the message says "File is not complete - continue to print?" I tried to re-slice it and still same message and then tried different file (knobs) -  same message. I don't understand why I'm getting the message?

I just clicked yes to continue print and see what happened.

The commonest occurence is when a complex shape takes unusually long to slice and the SD is removed before the file is fully flushed...

Cheerio,

It's possible. I will test it and see if it's the case. 😊 👍

I always ( 100% of attemps ) get this message when  I load a Gcode on MMU3 machine sliced with PrusaSlicer 2.7.

But I never get it with on gcode from PrusaSlicer 2.6.1.

I'm getting convinced it is slicer related, so I keep use 2.6.1 on MMU3 machine.

Funny, I ended up printed it (the MK4 LCD) on my brand new Bambu Labs A1 mini. 🤣 But I am working on fixing the issue whenever I have time.

RE: "File is not complete - continue to print?"

I am also getting a "File is not complete" for all slices with Prusaslicer 2.7.1 for my MK3s+ and MMU3.   I found a post that said that this message occurs if the M84 stop all motors command is not within the last 20000 characters of the gcode file.  With all the comments appended to the gcode, I see M84 at around 20100 characters from the end.

So, I just ignore the annoying warning message and will wait for the fix to be incorporate into the next release.

Likewise, never had a print issue after this message which i hope goes in the next release. I thought it was something to do with my revo so glad it's not.

I concur with the latest version of Prusa Slicer. I rolled back to an earlier version and the warning went away with the exact same file.

I had the same error always and it went away with 2.7.2 beta 1
