Adding MMU3 to new MK4 kit, any changes to printer needed?

I have a MK4 kit coming soon and will likely get the MMU3 in a while. When I build the printer, is there anything I should do to be ready for the MMU3 and not have to go back in later for changes? It looks like the only real change to the printer is adding a bowden tube input. Plus I suppose plugging in an MMU3 cable somewhere on the printer. The online instructions don't seem to be updated for the MK4 yet, unless I didn't look in the right place. It looks like the MK3+ version requires a lot of digging into the extruder. I'm hoping the MK4 version gets around all or most of that.

Jeff, I'll end up at the same destination as you but via the reverse route: MMU3 first and MK4 upgrade later. Yes, there's a lot of digging into the extruder involved in adding the MMU3 (from scratch in my case, as I don't already have an MMU2 on the unit). So like you I'm hoping there won't be a lot of work duplication when it's time for the second of the two installations. It may be a bit too soon to tell yet given that MMU3 + MK4 print issues are still being solved. Here's hoping for a smooth path! 😀
