Prusa Bondtech extruder upgrade with mmu2
Hi Guys
My new Prusa Bondtech upgraded extruder won’t fully unload the filament past the Bondtech gears during mmu2 colour change, what setting do I change to increase the unload length?
After ramming it should unload past the Bondtech gears so the mmu gears can take over, but it does not unload the filament far enough and the mmu gears cannot pull it out of the extruder (as the Bondtech gears do there job well and won’t let go!)
I’m sure there must be a setting to change this but I’m not able to find it!

Did you ever solve this? I am having the same issue. I was able to modify the firmware so that the unload option in the menu would completely unload the filament, but this doesn't affect the behavior during a filament change in a print.

There is a bond Tech Facebook group you can join. Ask there, the bond Tech people might have the answer for you.

You would want to increase the "parking position" distance, and also tune the "extra loading distance" accordingly. I came to a parking position of 85, and extra loading of -6.5 with the Bondtech+MMU2S
