test print?
Anyone got a library of good MMU2.0 prints and test prints? Or just a single 2- or 5-color test print.
I couldn't find anything good to search for on thingiverse.
(Putting it here since it's "how to I print this?" where "this" is "a good test print".)
Re: test print?
Try search keys "color", "colour" and "MMU" in thingiverse. You should get a pretty nice list.

Just search thingiverse for user "cipis" - that's roman.t - and he produces loads of very good models for MMU.

Yeah, they are very nice. I guess I'll have to engineer my own tests though...

Here is a 5 color test print for the MMU2:

Re: test print?
i like making my own test for it because you can make them as little or as many layers as you want. I was a big fan of the 2/5 layer tests.
I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

I prefer more layers and usually test with 20mm tall simple objects (cubes and cylinders). You can easily stop the print at any time (by removing the next filament to load and then a reset).

Re: test print?
I do have allot of dice (30 cm or so)
I am now just getting to the "going higher" stage of testing.
and I still have to change out my rods and bearings before doing a print I will want real nice

Re: test print?
Yeah, unfortunately, early on, I found that I only started to have missed layers at higher levels (maybe after 8 hours printing) which at the time seemed to be heat-related. Not sure about that now, as the more I printed, I found skipped layers lower down. But I think I have that resolved as well now 🙂

I was thinking about technical tests like filament switching (1->2, 2->3, 3->1 etc) and how much they need to extrude to do a perfect switch of colour, and if there'll be an air bubble and bad extrusion on the way...
