Is that for printing or loading/unloading? At the moment I don't think the MMU firmware differentiates between filaments.

Re: filament speed

im just looking for "extruder 5" speed kinda thing. I see temps in filaments...

holy crap if they don't have this.... its a must have....what are they thinking.

unless there is a game with volumetric speed...

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

Re: filament speed

Yes, volumetric speed should limit the print speed.

that just doesn't seem right...
hmm I want to print some flex. so I should speed it down by like 80%....

hmm

Re: filament speed

Maybe set max volumetric to 2 or 3 mm^3/s

Re: filament speed

Also, under filament/advanced, slow down everything you can - but not the "loading speed at start".

Slow down ramming and purge speeds as well.

I might just try that. after my "guest spool" print gets done... I tried a prusa mmu spool holder for the first time today....worse then I thought it was gonna be. found a good bottle 😀

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

No, it's pretty much the same, but one day I will modify the MMU firmware to properly work with less hard filaments.

I have all the loading/unloading speeds programmed within the KISS material profiles, but again the printing speed is controlled by the max volumetric value.
