The printer can not see MMU2S
Hello, I have a problem with the MMU2S update. The printer version MK2.5S can not communicate with the MMU2 module.
Connection of communication and power cable in accordance with the instructions.
I tried to update the firmware, but I can not connect to the module. I tried to do it in Linux, WinXP, Win7. Each time the module is detected as Arduino Leonardo. The Prussian drivers install correctly.

However, the ISP programmer correctly sees Atmega32U4, I can read the contents of flash memory and eprom.

USB will not power the MMU2 board. It has to be connected to the printer fully to power up via the 24v supply. Then it will be visible and programmable. I made the same error.

Of course, the MMU2 module is connected to RAMBO in accordance with the instructions, so the power supply is connected. I also tried using only a USB cable, but everything behaves the same.
I suspect that the Atmega32U4 program is damaged, so I have several questions:
- Is there any .hex file available with Caterina boot loader?
- Is the bootloader necessary for the MMU2 module to work? If not, can I upload the firmware "prusa3d_fw_MMU2board_1_0_5.hex" directly to Atmega32U4 using the ISP programmer?
The behavior of the MMU2 module is such that it is not seen by RAMBO, it does not respond to any control buttons, it reacts only to the RESET button, also resetting the printer. After turning on the power, one of the engines is trying to spin all the time, so I had to disconnect it for now so as not to damage anything.

Two days ago I launched MMU2. The cause was damaged software. I could not upload a new one through the bootloader, so I had to deal with it differently.
I read the program from Atmegi32, using the hexeditor I located the bootloader code and copied it to the new firmware 1.0.5 (from the address $ 7000), uploaded the file back to Atmega32.
Today I got a reply from Prusa Support with instructions on how to upload a new bootloader. I will test it and give an answer.
