Slicer creates soluble layer on top (and supports to carry it)?

Hi all,

I'm just starting again to fiddle around with BVOH (my first attempts some time ago didn't work out too good...) and found a curious issue: in my model, the slicer creates supports where there are no model parts above, and puts there and in some other places a soluble layer on the top.

It's not a deal breaker (I hope - unless I run into the occasionally mentioned tool change issues here), but unnecessary. Anyone got an idea what is going on here?

zipped .3mf file here, if you want to see what I'm talking about: Main_case

You have 'support everywhere' - try 'support on build plate only' - is this what you're looking for?

Cheerio,

Thanks - yes, that sort of works in this case. "Sort of" because sure, the unnecessary supports (and interface layers) are gone - but I still don't know why they have been created in the first place if there's nothing there to support.
