Prusa Slicer - Issue with Multi Part co-ordinates on 3mf files

I was going to raise it on Git Hub but thought I'd check first as I may not have found some setting.  Has anyone seen the issue where (using 3mf files) imported into Prusa Slicer getting the co-ordinates of the parts wrong?  I can find no option to arrange by co-ordinates either.  I've attached a photo and you can see that:

1) In 3D Builder the object has co-ords of 100 x 100 x 0 - but in Prusa Slicer it seems to be positioned at 47 x 31 x 0 (ish)

2) If I have a multi part object (say just cut in half), the relative positioning of the pieces are not kept (eg both parts of the split pyramid are now overlapping).  If you have a 2 parts vertically stacked, when you open in Prusa Slicer, both parts will be on the build table

Thanks

Nathan

It looks like you imported each part separately? For a MM print you need to either:

  • Load the first part, select "Load Part" (don't have it up right now so can't swear to the exact name), and then select the second part (you can actually select multiple parts to add at once).
  • Set the Printer configuration to the MMU (not single mode), click the Add Part button, select all the parts to import. You'll be prompted that it thinks they are all for a single model and ask if you want to import them that way, let it do so.

Either way you will then have a single part in the part list on the right under the printer settings and when you expand it you'll see the rest of the parts. That is also where you change the extruder for each part.

Nope, I imported the single 3mf file.  Easy to replicate, create an object in 3D Builder, spit it.... (or create multiple objects) and save in the default 3mf.  Drag it into Prusa Slicer = all the co-ords are out.
