Check that your MMU2 unit is functioning properly and the filament isn't binding. It sounds like the MMU2 feed motor is detecting too much pull on the filament and interpreting that as a blockage in the Bowden tube between the MMU2 and the extruder inlet. This may be due to a problem with the filament position or the filament itself; soluble filament is difficult to work with in the best of times I have found.
