How-to to customize the ramming and speed settings for adjusting filament ends forming

Hello everybody.

The use of different filament manufacturers leads to different deformation of the filament ends, especially when using the MMU2.
Therefore, I would like a how-to to customize the ramming and speed settings for adjusting this issue.

Is there any empirical values on how to change the settings of the filament feeder in order to suppress, for example, a thickening of the filament tip or a lengthened filament tip?

You are absolutely right: There are so many parameters for the multi material unit (ramming, cooling moves (velocity) ) and PRUSA left no description for us.

I spent one day to get a color change with a soluble material. At the end the day I could print but with a 50% failure rate!

You have a lot of control over the tip via temperature, which you already have per-filament setting for in Prusa Slic3r, so try these first.  Basically, try to go as hot as you can (for a thinner tip) but don't go so hot you get stringing.
