but I need to look and see if there is a festo mod out there for the buffer too as that would improve things too.
You might want to check this one out. I haven't used it as I'm still trying to find the best solution for my Repbox.

I used that until I gave up on fighting the wallet and went to a new rewinding spool that uses gravity based potential energy to rewind the spool. No springs to break, no spool holder that must grip some but not too much so it can slide, etc.
