RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
@antimix
Cordialement

RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
Hello guys,
I wanted to test this dribbling version with Prusa slicer 2.3.0, so I built the version dribbling_2.3.0.zip
Enjoy
@antimix Great job, many thanks.
@papou J'espère que cette version comblera tes attentes.
@shane-6 You can test this version
Happy printing

@kayl
thank you so much! no more issues when changing from 2.3 to 2.2 dribbling very happy 🙂
ill going to send you a private message just a heads up
RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
@kayl
Merci beaucoup.
Je termine ma "mutation" mk3s/MMU2s vers Mk3s+/MMu2s et je teste au plus vite.
Bonne journée

@shane-6
Just to verify, did you mean changing from dribbling 2.2 by antimix to dribbling 2.3 by kayl ?
RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
hello Kayl
is it possible to share sources, so that it can be compiled on other platforms?
thank you in advance
Pierre

thank you very much!
easy compilation under ubuntu 20.10 (with options -DSLIC3R_WX_STABLE=1 -DSLIC3R_GTK=3 -DSLIC3R_FHS=1)
RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
Bonjour, @kayl
Merci
Update please 😉

Cheers for keeping this updated!.
I'm having a strange issue however,
When slicing a print with this variant of PrusaSlicer, when the toolchange occurs, it will attempt to switch filaments before retraction - i.e. it hasn't pulled the previous one out of the extruder, the selector will move, with the old filament still in there - and cause a jam. It will merrily keep going on its way, and then start pushing out the next filament into mid air for awhile before realising it never reaches the extruder and stopping.
I sliced the same file back in regular PrusaSlicer and didn't have this occur, but are back to my 'stringing gumming everything up' prints. Not sure if it's something conflicting with the print settings I used?
RE: PrusaSlicer "DRIBBLING VERSION" for MMU2 updated to latest PrusaSlicer 2.1.0-rc
I would like to thank kayl for taking care of Dribbling 🙂.
Unfortunately in those times, I had no spare time to devote to it, but I am happy that the OpenSource world it is live, and we all are like a team. Feel free to continue to develop and improve the dribbling version, since for what I have seen recently PRUSA is focussing on XL and "real" multiple extruders, so Dribbling is still the best tools for standard MMU2 multi material.
