MMU2S Out of stock
Noticed the Prusa portal lists the MMU2S as out of stock (as of April 28th 2020). Last week it said 5 or 6 weeks lead. This week you can't even order it. I ordered mine on the 11th but the status is now "Backorder".
Is there a revision in the pipeline? Or did they just run out of some component? I know they're printing PPE but that shouldn't mean the MMU is now totally unavailable for purchase. They're selling the Mini still and that's got a 4 month backorder.
Side question: I apparently also ordered ... CPE HG100 Red Hood Transparent 750g. What kind of material is that? It was $35 for 750g.

Customer Support couldn't provide any timelines. Most likely they keep existing stock for replacement parts and wait until new batch arrive.
In regards to your existing order, you can always ask the chat about the status. I can recommend to do it in EU timezone. The chance to get more recent information is higher there.

About CPE, point your browser to https://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/ and download the manual for the MK3.
Chapter 12 holds all info about the different materials.
