Slic3r PE - multi color - how to create .gCode from console + .ini

Hello,
Please help me solve my problem.

I can not find any example to generate .gcode for multicolor head, using the Slic3r PE console + .ini + .stl
I have recently bought MK3 and the multicolor head.

MY ISSUE:
I have been using the Slic3r PE from console.exe and passing the .ini file and the stl to produce the .gcode file. -- so for so good

for the multicolor, I tried to pass the multiparts of stl files, but it is not working.
Could not find any example on the web too.

Can you please help me sending any example with, a sample .ini file and the other params (including stl files), so i can generate the gcode for multicolor print.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you

If you just installed your MMU 2.0 then you need to reinstall Slic3r. During the install process make sure you select the printer "with MMU" and not just the printer.
EXAMPLE:
MK3 with MMU 2.0

I am not at home in front of my computer so I can't provide you with the actual wording of the choices. If it's not this then I defer things to the experts here.
The only reason I know this is because I had the same problem and got the answer/correction through the "ONLINE CHAT"

You need to open the menu item "Configuration/Configuration Wizard" and select the Mk3 + MMU2 printer to enable multi-filament.

But you also need to ensure that you have the latest version of Slic3r.

Thank you David and Peter,

Actually My problem is that to generate the gcode file ( for MMU ) using the Slic3r console.exe -- not through the GUI ( GUI is working fine ).

So, I want to generate the gcode file by the Slic3r Console.exe,

Please help me out.

Thank you

You may manage to slice a MM model with Slic3r from a command line if you provide Slic3r with a 3MF or AMF file containing your models with extruders assigned.

In Slicer PE GUI, we provide the stls and it generates the gcode right?

i need the example parameters so i can pass on to console to generate the same gcode.

Thank you

Just export an AMF or 3MF from slic3r, rename it to zip, unzip it and analyze the result. To pass data to Slic3r from command line, do the reverse process.

Hi bubnikv,

So, What I am trying to achieve is:

generate the color model ( MMU ) gcode VIA slic3r-console.exe by passing the parameters,

Please give me any sample request parameters so i can generate the GCode without the GUI.

Thank you.
