Not sure if i need to change the PTFE tube in the extruder
Hi
I am adding a MMU2S to my MK3S and i am not sure if i need to change the PTFE tube inside the extruder or not. Apparently Prusa started to ship all MK3 with an upgraded PTFE Tube at some point and marked the heatbrakes with a green dot. My Heatbrake does not feature a green dot, but since the MK3S is newer than the MK3 i am confused.

I'm interested in this as well. Not sure whether my original MK3 already includes the special mmu2 compatible heatbreak and the correct (narrower?) PTFE tube.

I ended up not changig the tube and it has worked out fine so far. However, you still need to change the "chimney", the inlet where the filament enters the extruder, which is still a larger operation than i would have liked

Hmm, what inner diameter is the upgraded PTFE tube inside the heatbreak? Where did you get it?
As far as I understand, the point of the narrower tube in the heatbreak is the prevention of a broadening of the still soft tip right after retraction. This might help against broad tips which subseqently jam the filament path. Or am I mistaken there?
